We collect very little, we use it only to answer you, and you can have it deleted whenever you like. The detail is below in plain language.
There are no contact, inquiry, or newsletter forms on this website, and there are no advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party profiling scripts. Reading these pages does not hand us your personal information, and we do not buy or sell personal information.
When you email or call us, we have whatever you chose to tell us, held in an ordinary inbox and phone, the same as any message to a small business.
Appointments are booked through Meevo, our salon software, which appears embedded on our booking page. Anything you enter there, including your contact details and any deposit payment, is collected and processed by Meevo under their own privacy policy and their payment processor, not by this website.
We see your appointment in the Meevo system the same way we would if you had called the salon.
That booking widget also loads Google reCAPTCHA to guard against automated bookings, which sets Google cookies in your browser when the booking page opens. That is part of the Meevo widget rather than something we add, and it is governed by Google and Meevo.
Our contact page embeds a Google map so you can find us. Opening that page contacts Google and sets Google cookies, under Google’s terms. If you would rather avoid that, our address is written in plain text on the same page and in the footer of every page.
To answer you and to do your nails. We use what you send us to reply, quote a date, and plan your service, and for nothing else. We will not add you to a mailing list because you emailed us a question.
Correspondence is kept while it is useful for serving you and for our own records, and is deleted on request. Appointment history lives in Meevo for as long as we are your salon.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email ridgewoodnailclub@gmail.com or call 201-366-6639 and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, and we will honor those requests too.
We offer kids manicures and pedicures, and those appointments are booked by a parent or guardian. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
